Vasquez Rocks, Agua Dulce, California
This famous slanting rock formation is famous for scenes from the original Star Trek with Captain Kirk. Fast forward to 2009 and this rock formation appeared to be on Planet Vulcan in Star Trek IV. This rock has also made appearances in Bones, Friends, the New Girl and many other television shows. The television show Futurama even had an animated version of this famous rock formation.
Hatfield House England
Built in 1611, Hatfield House has connections to the Royal Family. It has also been home to the svelte Miss Lara Croft, the dapper Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) and the legendary Sherlock Holmes. It was also the family home of Tarzan in Greystoke The Legend of Tarzan. Over 30 movies have been filmed in this House.
The Lord of the Rings movie set
On farmland near Matamata on the North Island of New Zealand, you can find your way through rolling green hills to Middle Earth.
