Traveling around the world can be a grand experience for anyone with the wherewithal to face all of the challenges. The only thing that can make traveling even more rewarding is sharing that experience with friends, family and other travelers.

As you travel, you probably want to keep people up-to-date on your current whereabouts, your experiences and where you plan to travel to next. The good news is that in today’s constantly-connected world, that’s no problem at all. You can choose from a variety of apps to download on your mobile devices and keep everyone in the loop of your travels. Here are some of the apps you should look into if you want to show everyone just how exciting traveling can be.

You Tube

If you don’t already have the YouTube app downloaded on your devices, you should download it right away. This video-sharing app is indispensable with finding information about the places you are going and advice you may need when you get there.

But it’s also a great way to share your experiences with others. Once you create your own channel, you can upload videos of your travels, from exciting first-person adventures like ziplining or mountain climbing, to videos where you talk about your experiences. The best part is, if you are good enough and can get enough followers, you can even start making money with your channel, helping you to further your adventures.

Weather Live Free

If you plan on taking videos or photos — and, let’s face it, you will — then you need to know what to expect so you can share your favorite experiences with your friends and family. This weather app by Apalon Apps will give you all of the information you need.

Not only does Weather Live Free show you the current temperature, wind speed, precipitation and more, it also has a constantly-updated weather radar so you know what’s coming and going in your area so you can get the perfect shots to share.

It also has a seven-day forecast so you can plan ahead and a widget that shows up on your homescreen that you can customize to show as much, or as little, information as you want without even opening the app.

Facebook

The mother of all social networks, Facebook allows you to instantly share your experiences with all of your friends and family at the touch of a button.

Chances are, you’ve at least had a passing experience with this app, but if you haven’t, you’re missing out on the perfect way to keep your friend connected. Just sign up and you can immediately begin sharing photos, videos and text posts about your adventures from anywhere in the world. Your connections can reply to all of your posts, so you can instantly know what they like and what they are feeling about your posts. It’s always free, so why not give it a try?

Share your adventures with friends and family with these apps.
