October Holiday Destinations

17/09/2013 by Ann Oslo

Wondering what hot destinations to choose for an October getaway? Autumn may have its charm but for those seeking a little sunshine and less rain there are wonderful holiday choices that will bring a warm sunny feeling in your life.

After the summer months, many European countries start to cool down so if you’re looking to spend a hot October holiday, you’ll be pleased to know that in other countries people are still enjoying the warm season.

Canary Islands

With average temperatures up t006F 24°C, the Canary Islands are a wonderful vacation choice. Given the fact that it’s very close to the Africa’s Sub-Saharan region, the weather here has all the benefits of the Africa’s gorgeous climate, all year round. Best places to see are Tenerife, and its astounding beaches:  Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Also, you can visit Mount Teide, Tenerife’s volcanic mountain, for an ultimate travel experience. The best part is that in October, prices tend to be rather low, so you can enjoy sunny warm days by the beach at very reasonable travel expenses.

Cyprus

The Mediterranean Sea starts to cool down when the summer season is over, but not Cyprus. This region enjoys an extended hot summer until November, so if you’re looking for a nice holiday destination, Cyprus is the one. The lovely city of Paphos is best in terms of accommodation and very close by you’ll find the Coral Bay, a fantastic beach, perfect for families.

Cape Verde

Located on the west coast of Senegal, Cape Verde has dazzling summer weather. With an average 26°C temperature in October it’s no wonder why this place attracts so many tourists. It’s a perfect escape from rainy days and a good holiday location for those looking to chill out on the beaches of Boa Vista, hiking on frozen lava hillsides and engaging in a variety of water sports.

Tunisia

A beautiful October vacation is Tunisia. Although temperatures start to cool down after August, the weather remains perfect even when autumn surrounds the region. You can enjoy the luxurious resorts in Tunisia and explore its culture and historical heritage. The city of Carthage is the best choice for cultural sightseeing since it used to be the world’s third largest Roman city.

 Dubai

Dubai is the ultimate holiday destination. Whenever you choose to visit Dubai you’ll find sun and warm days. But the best time is October because the weather is more than bearable during that period. Luxury has no limits in Dubai; therefore, you’ll have the opportunity to live a five star experience that will leave you with unforgettable memories.
