Europe without the Fuss

Europe holds hundreds of exciting holiday ideas, including a variety of escorted coach tours. Increasingly popular, coach tours to Europe are no longer the cramped, uncomfortable experiences many people remember from school excursions. Escorted holidays bring thousands of tourists to the continent’s most beautiful locations each year, free from the stress, rush and problems of travel.

Some of the best European coach tours travel through the central and eastern states, including the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. From the moment you set off, you’ll be treated to VIP service – with shuttle cars arriving to take you to the airport and transfer you to a luxury hotel before your tour begins in earnest. Your coach tour will include first class travel options: baggage and check-in services, experienced guides and options to take a number of exciting organized excursions along the way.

European coach tours take you to the heart of the continent’s rich history and culture in a wide variety of settings. Tours beginning in Prague place visitors in the middle of a beautiful Baroque urban environment, and offer a chance to shop and sightsee against the backdrop of famous landmarks, such as Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Bratislava

The Czech Republic offers rolling green countryside and forests for the trip south into Austria where Vienna’s ornate architecture and rich history are a great contrast to the country’s rural beauty. You’ll find many famous locations within the city: Prince Eugene’s Belvedere Palace and the State Opera House are lavish landmarks while the huge Hofburg imperial residence can take hours to explore. Vienna is a city of culture and decadence – and you’ll experience it firsthand in the city’s many excellent bars and restaurants.

After Austria, coach tours wind leisurely through Slovakia, towards Hungary. Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, hugs the River Danube on both banks – the city provides a lively, colourful stop on the journey and a chance to take in some of the artistic, musical and cultural character of Eastern Europe. Onto Hungary, Budapest is a vibrant, bustling urban centre, home to the grandiose Parliament buildings, St Stephen’s Basilica and the Royal Palace – along with the more intimate market hall and the relaxing Vˆrˆsmarty Square.

A coach tour allows you to experience the diversity and beauty of Europe in complete comfort and luxury. While you’ll be able to choose to take a wide variety of excursions and trips as part of the tour, the versatility of an escorted package means there’s more than enough opportunity to explore each destination at your own pace.
